Contained in spaces, simply furnished, but cured in details,
the "HOSTERIA SUTTA CA' transmits a comfortable athmosphere.
The cuisine is simple and home maid. As a start to fool the await,
an appreciable homage from the chef:
A little tasty surprise, which could be, vegetable cake, focaccia,
pizza, or filled vegetables; Then we get then into main dishes,
which are different kind of pasta, fresh or filled such as ravioli
or pansotti, dress with pesto [basilicum sauce], butter and sage,
nuts sauce, tomato and basilicum sauce, or fine meat sauce. A mention
is adequate, for tagliolini [home made kind of pasta], with prawns
and different vegetables such as asparagus, artichoke, or different
variety of courgette.
Also inviting are, the classic vegetable ligurian soup, and the
octopus salad made on Tuesday, or the supreme stockfish,
available Friday, only on reservation.
Also to mention the herbs filet, and the daily fished fish, cooked
in oven, or in humid, or by steam. Not to miss the "GranMa
pudding"
bitterish flavoured, the creme
caramel, and
the chocolate
cake with pears,
or the tart with jam and almonds. The chef proposes every day an
extemporary menu, but you can always count on a choiche of set
firmly plates,
which changes every day, whitin the week.
The cellar offers a choiche between Ligurian, Piedmontese, and Venetian
vine.
Of course it offers the possibility of reservation for groups of
15-20 persons for reunion, party, or birthdays.
